| Abstract: |
This project proposes to address the lack of local experience (e.g., by VDOT, contractors) with longer-term performance of warm mix asphalt (WMA) by evaluating the performance of several trial installations over a three-year period. The research also will document the construction and initial performance of any additional warm mix asphalt projects constructed over the duration of this project. Finally, the project will develop a special provision to facilitate the specification and use of warm mix asphalt. |
