| Abstract: |
The project proposed to evaluate and compare three devices for characterizing the flatness and/or elongation of coarse aggregates. The three devices include one mechanical device (the proportional caliper) and two digital devices (digital calipers). Multiple tests with each device, as well as test reproduction with different technicians will permit a comparison of the respective devices, and recommendations regarding future procurement and use. |
