Purpose:

Conduct research on the materials and material processes used in the construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of transportation facilities, and includes field and laboratory studies in the following general areas:

  • asphalt concrete
  • surface treatments
  • hydraulic cement concrete
  • concrete repair
  • corrosion
  • nondestructive testing
