Abstract: Bicycle and pedestrian advocacy groups have approached VDOT with a variety of proposals and requests for support. In deciding how to respond to such inquiries, the VDOT Bicycle and Pedestrian Program staff desires to know how other state DOTs interact with advocacy groups.
