| Abstract: |
The level of understanding of the laboratory characteristics of Superpave needs to be improved. The permanent deformation and fatigue performance of Superpave mixes is often not adequately characterized in the lab. The project will use information from the surface mixes on the Smart Road to enhance the understanding of deformation and fatigue in the lab so that future pavement designs may be improved. |
